Choreographing-with Stones is a workshop that emerges from the artistic research Lithic Choreographies, translating its exploration of human-stone entanglements into a hands-on, participatory experience. Participants engage directly with stones through movement, touch, and sound, exploring their rhythms, textures, and capacities to affect and be affected.
Through guided exercises, improvisation, and collaborative experiments, we investigate how subtle gestures and attentions can generate emergent patterns, sonic interactions, and alternative ways of relating to the world.
No prior experience in dance, performance, or sound art is required—openness, curiosity, and attentiveness are the main tools. The workshop offers a hands-on exploration of eco-performative practices, attentive listening, and material agency, allowing participants to co-create ephemeral choreographies with stone.

Choreographing-with Stones es un taller que surge de la investigación artística Lithic Choreographies, llevando las relaciones humane-piedra a una experiencia práctica y participativa. Les participantes interactúan directamente con piedras a través del movimiento, el tacto y el sonido, explorando sus ritmos, texturas y capacidades de afectar y ser afectadas. Mediante ejercicios guiados, improvisación y experimentos colaborativos, se investiga cómo gestos sutiles y atencionales pueden generar patrones emergentes, interacciones sonoras y formas alternativas de relacionarse con el mundo.
No se requiere experiencia previa en danza, performance o arte sonoro: la apertura, la curiosidad y la atención son las principales herramientas. El taller ofrece una exploración práctica de prácticas eco-performativas, escucha atenta y agencia material, permitiendo a los participantes co-crear coreografías efímeras con las piedras.
