Stone Bath is a performance-ritual shaped by stones, water, salt, and repetition. Over forty minutes, simple gestures repeat: watering stone, salting stone, marinating stone, bathing stone, drying stone — and again.

Cycles of care transform into a meditation on time, labour, and intimacy. Colour, humidity, and wrinkled fingertips reveal a slow choreography of relation, where human and stone meet through touch, patience, and persistence.

First performed at Uitnacht Arnhem in January 2024, Stone Bath invites audiences into an atmosphere of quiet transformation and lithic intimacy.

Stone Bath es una performance-ritual moldeada por piedras, agua, sal y repetición. Durante cuarenta minutos, gestos simples se repiten: regar la piedra, salar la piedra, marinar la piedra, bañar la piedra, secar la piedra —y volver a empezar.

Los ciclos de cuidado se transforman en una meditación sobre el tiempo, el trabajo y la intimidad. El color, la humedad y las yemas arrugadas revelan una coreografía lenta de relación, donde humano y piedra se encuentran a través del tacto, la paciencia y la persistencia.

Presentada por primera vez en Uitnacht Arnhem en enero de 2024, Stone Bath invita al público a sumergirse en una atmósfera de transformación silenciosa e intimidad lítica.
