Lithic Choreographies is an artistic research that addresses human-stone entanglements in studio practice and performance-making, by exploring mutual affect, agency, and matter. The research is a proposition to move-with the strange dance of the Anthropocene by listening to the vibrant potential of stone-human intra-actions, embracing alternative, affect-laden, eco-performative imaginaries.

texture/affect lithog. I is a lithograph that emerges as a diffraction of this research where stone – as agential matter – reveal its capacity to affect in multiple mediums, dimensions, and intensities. In the work, a 3D-scanned texture image from a stone gets transferred to a limestone plate, to then print a lithograph of that texture on hahnemühle paper.

Lithic Choreographies es una investigación artística que aborda los entrelazamientos humane-piedra en la práctica de estudio y de performance, explorando el afecto mutuo, la agencia y la materia. La investigación propone moverse con la extraña danza del Antropoceno escuchando el potencial vibrante de las intra-acciones piedra-humane, abrazando imaginarios alternativos, eco-performativos, y cargados de afecto.

texture/affect lithog. I es una litografía que surge como una difracción de esta investigación, donde la piedra revela su agencia y capacidad de afectar en múltiples medios, dimensiones e intensidades. En la obra, una imagen de textura de piedra escaneada en 3D se transfiere a una plancha de piedra caliza para luego imprimir una litografía de esa textura sobre papel hahnemühle.
